@soccermom4212 As a former Cocker Spaniel owner & breeder, I agree with the sweetest, & loyal adjectives wholeheartedly. I will add: Goofy, beautiful, fun loving, ball crazy, secure [not clingy] But....'smartest'? eh.....not the smartest dog breed I have owned. Nevertheless, their positive characteristics make them a FANTASTIC family pet. Everyone, If you are thinking about one as a pet, PLEASE, please check first with Cocker rescue groups and the local dog pound in your town. |

Very cute! We have 2 cockers a 7 yr old buff male named Winston and a 9 month old black and white male named Cow. They are so fun and great companions. |

I take it tail docking is still legal in the US then ? Been banned/illegal in the UK since 2007 unless for medical reasons or for some breeds of working dogs. |

Cocker Spaniels are such amazing dogs.Im 16 and my mom got me my 1st cocker spaniel puppy when i was two years old.And she lived until i was 15.She was such an amamzingf dog and sych a wonderful companion.I miss her so much. |
