I never said they originated in America...I am well aware of the history. Just because this video focuses on America, does not negate their prior history. I was referring to the impact APBTs made on the foundation of America. They as well as many other Pit Bull-type breeds had a major and significant role here. They still do. I am just bringing attention to the fact that they deserve respect as any other war hero does. They earned it! |

oh so sad im crying,, i used to be VERY afraid of pit bulls coz my neighbor has one and this poor dog is so badly treated, once he unleashed himself and attacked my mom (lots of stitches were needed), but my bf just bought a blue pit 6 months ago and im so in love with this amazing dog,, he is so kind and friendly he loves children too, he loves to play with other dogs and loves to be hugged. Now, i trully believe that the owner makes the temper of the dog.. |

i was saved by my pet pit bull sally we were out for are normal saturday morning walk i was still in my Pjs then a stray rottweiler attacked me (im not saying rottweilers are bad dogs) then sally pounced on the dog and bit it's leg so then i grabbed sally's leash and ran home with her and my parents called animal control and i see pit bull's as cute life savers |

my life was saved by my pit bull sally i was taking sally out for a normal Saturday morning walk (in my PJs)and out of no were we were attacked by a stray rottweiler (im not saying there bad dogs but this one was 0.o) then sally pounced on him and made sure i was safe me and sally ran back home and my parents called animal control so a pit bull saved my life so all pit bulls have a place in my heart |

its hard to believe that a breed named as a "killer" can be a service dog why cant people see the dog not what people have turned them into my pit was one of the most obediant dogs i have owned all she wanted to do was please thats why they fight thats what pleases those HEARTLESS people who train them to fight |

Vickyspin, you might want to let the APBR Thats AMERICAN PIT BULL REGISTRY, the AKC, the UKC, the NAPDR, the NKC, the CKC, the APRI, and the ACR, that the dog they register as an American Pit Bull Terrier isn't a breed. |
