Aww so sorry to hear what happened. I too have a border and she will chase anything that moves - from bin bags to footballs to motorbikes. I am sure she would chase a fox too. They really are their own worst enemy for getting into silly/dangerous situations but what great little dogs and friends they are. |

my dog is a border terrier too. if he saw a fox im sure hed chase it too if he thought that the fox was endangering my life. Its sad to know he died at a young age but im sure his few years were the best he could have. He looks great, and i hope you dont let his death bring you down too much |

That is so so so sad to hear about Jackson ... I have a border myself, Penny. This video just sums the breed up perfectly. This (running alongside horses/owner) is what they were bred for. The bit I love the most is when he gets in front of you and you stop ... He looks at you as if to say "come on then!! What are you waiting for?!?" Lol
LOVE IT .. I love my border so much I can't express in words. The best dog I've ever owned. A great companion, lovely personality and too cute :) |

Thanks for posting this. I ust lost my Little Border Terrier Trooper a few days ago. He was 18. I have a puppy now Maximillian (MAX) who is helping me get through the loss and go forward. I want you to know that The first time I saw your video I cried because he looked so much like Trooper. Now I watch it because it reminds me how lucky I was to have such a wonderful friend. A Badger nearly killed my border terrier in april :( i was outside and i heard him screaching and ran through the dark to get there and the badger was twice his size! it didn't even back down to me, i ran and pretended to kick at it (i didnt want to harm it or get bit) but i swear i would of annilihated it if it had killed my lil boy, luckily the vets got him all better, RIP Jackson (mines called little jackie boy) |
