@rmymsu Thank you, and much obliged. I believe WFTs are special and deserve every mention they can get. Ben, snoozing happily to my right, looks up briefly and smiles as only he can, before returning to chase that never-never rabbit in his dreams. |

i must tell you i am so impressed with your prompt and kind responses. i have loved my dogs dearly for so many years(i'm 60) that it is a great pleasure to enjoy the world access the internet provides and to find others who love their animals this way. your original film of ben in france was absolutely gorgeous and i have shown it to many friends. thanks for the info--i will continue to follow ben and as "the soph" said just now "ruff, rwwwwr". |

@rmymsu thanks for your kind comments. Ben gets stripped twice a year, that ensures his coat remains vivid. Takes a lot longer than a simple trim but pays off in the long run. Big ruff to Sophie from Ben :) |

beautiful video and wft. ben must be fairly young here because his colors are so vivid. our wft sophie is 6 and colors are now pale. we love here but wish she was as sociable as ben. she loves people but we can't let her around other dogs--wants to fight everything. |

Pretty video. I love WFT too but I also love the Parson Russell. I enjoy watching any video that respectfully portrays the dog and his curiousity. He's very cute. |

Alfie dog is now a 'big boy' (8 months). I say a big boy but my suspicion is they remain puppies forever? Alfie has just discovered that his water bowl can double as a paddling pool (!) Wait 'til he discovers the beach at the end of our street in France (we couldn't take him until now) I think he'll be the talk of the village. I take him to puppy training school, but we've had to sit out ,on numerous occasions, because he is so naughty. He ate a Dalmation's poo last Thursday... |

@wftbrown11 trying to imagine what it must be like having two WFTs ... and can't. One's enough to keep us on our toes :) Have been told that 2 (male) WFTs won't always get on, but obviously not the case with Fred and Doc. All the best to them and you from sunny Europe, and a big "ruff" from Ben |

@MsCaz007 whey - so good to hear that even down-under WFTs have their following. Wait till I tell Ben! But seriously, the picture re. their popularity sadly is little different here in Europe. If I had a pound each time I've heard 'Cracking dog, but you don't see them often these days' I'd be living in Downing Street by now.
I think FTs have the reputation of being 'difficult' (dog knows why...). Anyhoo, hope their online presence helps to reverse that.
Thanks for your kind comments, cheers. |

Soooo cute. I have two smooth coat foxies. One black and white aged 16 and a brown and white aged 8. Love the wire coat but very rare here in Australia. have only seen 1 other smooth coat in the past 6 years. Have had 4 and wouldn't have any other breed now. Thanks for sharing your video. |

We just collected five-month old Alfie from Wales today and already he has settled in and stolen our hearts and those of everyone he met on the journey back to London- he is amazing. He's coming to France at Easter and then moving there, with us, in July. He's sitting with his head on my knee as I write this and mark dissertations, because he's too curious to sleep any longer. I'm in love! |
