we had a bloodhound (we called her a buddhound tho) when i was little. once she was digging in the trash and i went to see what she was doing. well being territorial she bit me. I didnt seem to mind though. She wasnt even one yet, and i had just turned 2. i am 18 now and theres a spot on my eye brow that doesnt grow where she "ruffed" me. i miss her every day. but i will always have my little bald spot to remember my gertie with! She was by far the greatest dog we ever had. |

Your hounds look just like my uncles ones in belize he has 10 6 boys 4 girls he hunts wit them they're the same color as these all of them are brothers and sisters lol my favorite one was one named anna may she was huge |

Just wondering, since you have a lot of bloodhounds, how often do they live? I heard the average life span is 6.75 years. But mine is very healthy. I don't know if it makes a difference but she was the runt and a twin. |

awesome dogs, i got one about a year ago and that's hard to believe. but they are truly amazing animals( though a bit stubborn) but very expressive. i couldnt ask for a better dog. |
