if you have a West Highland terrier she'll be white. If you have Cairn Terrier then she could be red, blond or brindle - what colour is yours? |

okay. westies are white. cairns are brown, tan, dark gray/black and a reddish color. other than that they look the same.
in the movie... it's a cairn. it's a tannish color. mine cairn is the same color |

We have a little rescued dog that we've been told by some is a westie and by others is a cairn. One of the folks that thinks she's a cairn said they had one once that looked just like her. I assure you that the dog opening the kennel is a Cairn Terrier and not a West Highland Terrier.
The second dog is a hound mix.

It appears to me that this video is showing more than one dog. Because ONE of those dogs is a Westie. And IF the other dog is a Cairn then it can't be full Cairn. Because Full blooded Cairn's do not look like that. DUMBASS! |

Cairns look really fluffy/fat if their fur's mussed, particularly after baths (people are shocked how skinny my dog is when she's wet), but they also do like their food. Given how mobile he is I'm betting his fur's just puffy. |
