@paddyy666 Sorry, I can say with absolute confidence, its not like that. Maybe you will believe a studied ethologist who ist specialised in cynology? Asking doesn't cost a thing ;-) Regarding the video... it doesn't matter in the end why he bit. It just shows clearly that the owner is not in charge in that dogs point of view to solve situations like this. In a pack its always the leader who goes forward first to decide what to do. The others will wait and see and react according to the boss. |

@paddyy666 Yep your are right and perfectly confirmed me. So a dog owner should know, dogs often enough consider a baby as a prey, especially when they cry and crawl, or if you havent taught him to respect the child as higher rank, he might get the idea of correcting in his eyes childs wrong behaviour, etc. So dogs are still predictable and you with that knowledge of course don't let them ever be alone together. Mother dog also never lets their pups alone with adults till old enough same reasons |

@Drachenkind76 first of all these dog or not wild there domestic dog,in the wild they do fight alot to find who the top dog is.drachenkind which 1 is the pack leader at this show ???? there isnt 1 thats why its proberly attacking this other dog in the video.youve got it the wrong way round by NATURE they are very unpredictable.at the end of the day where not aloud to have dogos in the uk we use pitbull lurchers but the dogo are breed for hunting. |

If all dogs are unpredictable then a wild dog pack couldn't survive, cause they would be busy with fighting all day long and dealing with social unstableness. If your dog is unpredictable then you have just messed it up. And as long as the pack leader is in charge, the dog doesn't decide to solve his problems on his own. He then is just a balanced calm submissive dog.Every dog is by nature absolutely predictable and stable,if you are able to read him,speak his language and treat him accordingly. |

These handlers are amatuers. They should have each dogs body language. They guy also should have held the dog on a tighter leash at his side so he could use his legs to to block the dog and the dog wouldn't have gone between his legs. As a guy who broken up a few dog fights always grab a dog by the scruff the neck.You'll get more leverage and control and the dogs become more relaxed and submissive. Also leashes and collars won't slip off. If they hold on each other bop them under the chin. |

Idiots. 2 minutes before the "attack" the dogs made it clear what was going to happen. The dog being attacked was very VERY nervous and he constantly looked around, allmost afraid of what was happening.
The more dominant dog saw it as a weakness and wanted to correct it. It's not the fault of the attacker, the other dog was very nervous and could possibly trigger souch reaction. |

Dumb assholes with no clue about dogs, shouldn't lead a Dogo. I hate it, if people have no clue about how to split up two fighting dogs. But moreover I can not understand, how the owner can bring such a dog to the show. He knows quit well that his dog is being like that. Unpredictable! As one can see.
