@gt2e Protective nature? I remember people stereotyping that a Doberman along with Rottweilers, and Bulldogs were "aggressive" by nature. This video kind of proves it wrong, eh?
Although, I am pretty sure the owner, aka the parent, trained the dog to do this sort of thing. But hey, what do i know. |

This is adorable. The only problem is he might get too possessive and start shying people away too. Like parents. Haha |

@lyndseeyroque Nice to see someone actually putting some forethought into getting a pet. Too many people just say 'wow that looks cool' and don't realize what they're getting into. |

Is there really a reason for the other dog to not get near the baby? |

great dogs.. i hear they are very protective over their owners and family ... my dog is sort of like that.. hes mostly wolf/malemute ( not sure how its spelled) and around babys hes very gentle but if he sees something thats possibly threatening hell get in guard mode. and a very gentle dog that just always is in a playful mood even at 9 years old |

@lyndseeyroque You won't regret it! They are awesome. They will protect you and love you to death. Just make sure you socialize it a lot and be wary of visitors because they can feel threatened by people they've never met before. |

I recently started doing some research on this breed. I've been doing some reading as well as watching videos on youtube. I have a 3 year old son. My husband and I are thinking about adding a dog to our family. This video (along with some other great ones I've watched over the past few days) helped us make our decision. We are getting a doberman and have an appointment Thursday to pick our puppy. Thank you for this video! :) |

@toob247 Hmm good logic.... Or maybe it is because "short" life made dogs as species adapt to environment changes faster (aka evolution). Also a sad thing is that because of humans many dogs are inbred which might have negative impact on their life expectancy |

@THANOS4751 yeah... some dobermans do... but so do some dalmatians and huskies and german shepards and... pretty much every dog breed. |
