@hotchillieszz you should do further search on those subjects. Big cat/bear/heyna bating, is when a dog or multiple dogs are put on to fight these animals BUT the wild animals canines and claws are taken out, its cruel but its made to assure the dogs victory, it was done to the puma in the dogo argentino fight.

This is a really good example of how each of these breeds play in regards to energy levels. Although, the dogo can vary a lot from really lazy to pit bull like play. |

I guess it's still a dog over a cat thing?
I do find it amazing that a cat(claws) that is taller and outweighs the dogo is inferior to it. I put in "I put in argentino dogo dominates puma", "dogo argentino attacks puma"on u tube nothing popped up except one video where the dog was barking at a baby puma that must have weighed no more than 20 lbs. Maybe you can refer/recommend me to a URL. They are beautiful dogs. |

@Michkuty -- Dogo's were actually bred for hunting large game. There is also videos on the internet of SINGLE Dogo's taking on a Puma and dominating it. Go see for yourself before talking about stuff you know nothing about. And yes, an aggressive C.O or GSD could also take on a Puma with success, ONLY if they are trained and possess the right amount of aggression and tenacity. |

yea? why are there no vids of it then? tell me how a dog can kill a big cat? what advantage does a dog have vs puma?
coz puma has lets see: claws, size, agility, bigger teeth?
oh and another disadvantage to dogo is short hair, dogs like ovcharka or long hair GSD would be better off fighting with puma than your dogo
oh and farmers dont have 1 dogo, they have 2-3, theyre used for scaring off pumas, not killing them:S

dogos used in many zones of Argentina to protect the cows and other farm annimals against Pumas, one Dogo kills a Puma, its the Dogo´s Job in many places. |

nope youre wrong, pumas are 60-70kg, while dogo is like .... 30-50kg? so you see pumas are much larger, also as theyre cats, they got sharp claws and agility
now tell me how the hell can this dog kill a healthy puma? its rubbish
besides pumas are known to even kill wolves, so what are we talking about |
