gorgeous dogs, i've never met a remotely agressive pit, such sweet dogs. i'm dying to get a playmate for my shepherd-basenji mix, and i'd love to get a pit. |

@4weelierkid There's no need to start trying to put muscle on him yet. You don't want to put stress on their growing joints or you could end up with a lame dog. It's always a good idea to wait to do anything like that until they're a year old. |

You SHOULD absolutely train your dog. just showing up and baiting them with something isnt real weight pulling. baited dogs dont pull as reliably or with as good of style as trained dogs. poor style -- sling shotting, bouncing and lunging in the harness -- leads to increased chance of injuries. as for when to start training, I start at 8 months with a proper wpull hrness and very light drags. |

What a great way to show off the Pibbies strength! I only wish there were more weight-pulling fun shows for all breeds, the dogs absolutely love it. |

anyone know what I can buy to put muscel on my female pit she weighs only 40 lbs and she is 4 years old. She has a 6 1/2 foot vertical jump and is very fast I don't want her to lose all her speed though. |

@jabbarcks...u dont need to ''train'' your pit for weight pulling...u just need to know wats ur dog likes...for example...i own a kennel and i have a 4 time weight pull champ//a rednose ...and the first time i go wit my dog to a weight pulling show.....i just bring a tennis ball.....and before that i never train or w/e my dog.......excuse my english |
