i had to give my bloodhound (Tank) to my folks last year due to having a baby on the way and how small our yard was. I miss him dearly, hands down the best dog anyone could ever have. They are the definition of mans best friend. He was actually a bloodhound/red bone mix that i got from our local shelter and he was about 4 months old. at 10 months old when i gave him to my parents he was about 103 lbs and nothing but a huge lap dog. I cant wait until my boy is a little older so i can get him one |

@714jewelz714 honestly, I reccommend checking local bloodhound rescues first, rather than buying from breeders (especially if you do not know the breeder personally, and are unsure how big their operations are, and if they treat the breeding dogs humanely). I just graduated from college and also would love some bloods, however I've also realized how many abused, neglected, or lost ones are desperately looking for adoptive homes (mainly because of breeders :( ). Many would otherwise die. |

Love these guys! I have a red and a black & tan - 6 yrs old now named Rusty and Sadie. Funny thing about the howling and neighbors, for some reason the neighbors love to hear them as well. We're on 5 acres, so it helps I think Thanks for sharing! |

I absolutely love your two dogs. They are so beautiful, and I love how their faces get even more wrinkly when the put their heads down. It must be fun having loud dogs in the house. |

I have a full grown bloodhound and he is really listening hard to this. LOL. If you could see him turning his head back & forth. So funny. I want another one. Bloodhounds are the cutest dogs ever. I want a puppie so bad. |
