The ears are called "prick ears" and if a JRT has prick ears that JRT is disqualified from any conformation competition. |

@EllEssYou19 its only common if fed puppy food past the age of 3 months. The high protien causes the ears to stand straight up. |

This is a "pricked earred" jack russell. Their ears stand up because they do not have enough tissue at the top of their ears to weigh them down. My sweet Dolly has the same kind of ears. |

As puppies they like to mouth, arm legs etc. the sooner you stop tolerating his cute nibbles the less likely they are to bite-play later on. (won't let mine play alone with a child under 7.)
Play structured games; fetch/ retreive (mine loves to go with me rollerblading) often and they will not grow up to be agressive or porky! 'Tug of war' ruins my Jrt's behaviour for a few hours though, Read as much as you can about this breed, as some of the best tips do not work for this smart dog. |

No. you have to train a dog to do that. But they LOVE to play all day long so if there are not enough toys he will try to bite you because it wants to play |
