@GRAYGRIZZ I seen 5 month old puppies lash on to bigger badder boars than that in the wild. That hog was acting like that cause he was tie, he had no choice but to act like that. Most dogs will catch when agitated and put in such advantage against thy're prey. I have seen crappy dogs catch lots of pigs. A good dog does not need excuses. He just go in and catch. |

that dog runrun was not confused. Good instinct and very nice dog. That dog is obviously a working dog and not a pet doing what he was bred for back when they were developed in Argentina from English bull terriers and other breeds |

This dog was 9 months old and this was his first Boar.that boar was 70kg .compare the boar to the size of the dog-The hog was experienced-look how he backed into something to cover his arse. This was a well known Dogo-in the states.
That Dog grew into a great dog-he caught over 50 hogs alone.was owned by a good chap who knew more than any of youse do.
Lern yourselfs before making stupid noises-you make yerselfs look like a bunch of tally waggin' faggot boys '. |

no it is not my dog and your rite they do tend to be aggressive when socialised just like any breed of dog they bred them for near on a hundred years to eliminate the dog aggression but as you say without proper training can be aggressive but they are not a fighting breed they have been bred to be the opposite the will to fight the Boer or cougar is the only trait they kept from the Cordoba fighting dog |

Mate, is that your dog? if so you are an idiot. The Dogo as you said was bred from the Cordoba FIGHTING dog, you would be hard pressed to completely eliminate the fighting traits of such dogs, I have bred Pits and Arabs and have friends that have bred Dogos. The only way to prevent their fighting instinct is early age socializing and training. Dogos in partucular can develop an aggressive and dominant temperament if not socialized with other dogs as puppies. People are to blame not d dogs. |

a dogo was bred to be a pack hunting animal they bred out the dog aggression which came from Cordoba fighting dog so there not a fighting breed they were bred to hunt Boer and protect homestead and people from cougar(mountian lion) so you obviously do need educated |

watch your tone, my post was directed @ the post before mine which seems to have been retracted, I know the difference between PitBull, Dogo and Bull Arab since I have owned all and don't need to be educated on the subject. The dogs mentioned were not bred for boar baiting they were bred for fighting, but you are right about two dogs to one boar min. People think its easy to turn a fighting dog into a working one, takes training and patience, this owner is an IDIOT. |

its not a pit bull its a dogo and Boer hunting is wot there bred for u idiot its people like you that dont no the difference is wot gives any pitbull looking dog a bad name they have been hunting with dogo for nearly a hundred years but there should be two dogs to 1 boer at least |

I would'nt do that with my dogs because I loved them , look at the vid , the dog is confused & young also the boar , sorry but a full boar would have killed that dog , I've seen it , my friend has hunting vids utube will not show . |

I put the comment as a joke , so you girls stop crying , anyway good for you , I had two APBT's and a AM.Bulldog for close to 15 years, they where the best . Need to read a bit of history kid , a DOGO is a hunting dog and is not game like a Pit , all I'm saying is a true APBT or AM.Bulldog would have stop that boar in 5 seconds . |

I own two APBT's who are highly athletic and I dont think it would happen. A Dogo is like a big version of a pit that and I'm don't wanna drag the APBT name through the mud |
