@TheWarloghe Do you even know what an American Pit Bull Terrier or Staffordshire Bull Terrier looks like? Over half the dogs in this video and all the ones that are blamed for attacks aren't a specific breed; they're mutts that fit the profile of "pitbull" which isn't a real breed either. |

@TheWarloghe And those dogs only maul and kill people because the people that own them don't know how to properly socialize and train a dog or they want them to be a vicious killer. Any dog that is treated the way most APBT are would end up that way. When people learn what it takes to properly care for a dog and be responsible for their actions the attacks and slander will end and we can all stop having these stupid arguments. |

I read a few articles where people that were mauled just said pit b/c they THOUGHT it was when it was a bull mastiff or a boxer or something. This owner of a tiger or lion or some wild big cat LIED & said it was a pit bull because their big cat mauled a friend. The media tells us what it wants & what it knows the general public want to hear. |

Yes pitbulls were selectively bred, but not entirely for fighting. Long ago when they first came over from England they were "game" dogs, wanting the ability of terriers with increased strength to handle tougher situations as catch dogs, guardians, hunting. Some were trained for fighting but that wasn't their purpose. It was only recently within the past 30 or so years that they were raised with different purposes, such as dog fighting, because the years of their original purpose is long past. |

Still does not hide the fact that Chihuahua's ARE more aggressive than pits. My "fufu" yorkie has bitten me more than my Rottweiler mutt (she's NEVER bitten me). Lil dogs are more aggressive than big dogs. And like @lindsayisedge said Pits don't have jaws that lock, that's just a myth. Why does Cesar Millan have NO problems w/ his pits? |

@TheWarloghe Pit bulls don't "lock" onto anything. Anatomically, their bite is the same as any other breed, meaning there are no "locking mechanisms." I have a pit bull, and he doesn't hang from trees. That is just a silly statement. Trainers sometimes use this as a way to train. The dog does not do this on his own free will. Any dog can bite and hang from an object...including a little chihuahua. Look into the history of a "pit bull." Not bred to fight. State your references. |

It's not the BREED its the stupid OWNERS who are ignorant assholes. I've owned and rescued over 30 pits in the last 15 years not been bite even once. My oldest is almost 19 and she was a champion fighter when I rescued her she is the best most loyal dog ever. Good with kids and she saved my life! any dog can be vicious. "don't blame the breed blame the owners!!!" |

So your statement about Chihuahuas being aggressive is pointless. You only say that to hide the fact that pitbulls were bred to fight and kill. It's why Michael Vic used them for dog fighting and not Chihuahuas!
