Does any one on here own a bull terrier???? My bull terrier is aggressive with my pitbull, always starting fights for food and his jaw very strong. He is awesome with people and plays aroind with all kids and adults.. JUST NOT GOOD WITH DOGS |

I have heard good things about the true "Bull Terrier".
Unfortunately, PITBULLS give your breed a very bad name. I recall reading that there is some Bull Terrier in the pitbull stock, which by just seeing the names, it sounds like it's true.
Just keep the breeders breeding for good temperament and health. |

His best known dogs were Madman, Puss, Wasp, Nettle and Truk. There is no record of James Hinks ever fighting his dogs. (2) Old Victor born 1869 his pedigree does not exist, but he is known to be the most important stud dog at the start of the 1870's. Unfortunately in 1872 was found smothered to death in his bed at the Crystal Palace Show.
and my dog has been traced back to this dog Puss is the daughter of Mr. James Hinks most famous bitch and start of the bull terrier. As we know it to day, Hink's Puss was born 1861and Madman born 1863. It is from these dogs Mr. James Hinks went on to refine the bull terrier. |

The English bull terrier was never breed for the fighting pit OK in 1855 dog fighting was all ready band Mr James hinks how created the English bull terrier breed this breed of dog for the show ring and show ring only the English pit bull and the English bull dog both these dogs came to the USA by from Ireland for dog fighting but all these dogs u now call the american pit bull but all came from england |
