I got my dachshund at the pound. Someone was going to throw her away. She was also pregnant at the time and i didn't know it until a month later. She had 3 puppies. They all went to good homes. And eventually my sisters dog died so i gave my beloved Sandy to her to help the other dog stop grieving. It worked. Love them. Thanks for sharing the video |

Dachshunds are great dogs. I love my Doxie, Carly. Watch carefully that they don't jump from high places, such as the couch, your bed, your chair. And that you watch them around kids because kids are kind of rough with these guys. Their backs are so fragile that many of them do break their backs at the slightest fall, etc. |

@Sheri451 yeah I thought the same thing seeing as my cousins had a german shepherd named Duke when we were kids but mom said that was the whole point.. give a little dog a big dog's name and they'll live up to it lol |

Suchi is percious. We have a Dachshund too, his name is Lucky and he's Black and Tan. But I would like to have a Red one too someday. Dachshunds are my favorite dog. Mouthy but still my favorite. |
