Here, in Germany, it is allowed to cut of the only if you use the dog for hunting.
If a Dog where born with a tail, the humans should NOT dock it of. I think it's ok if the dog is used for hunting.I must NOT know everything about hunting to think ist STUPID to dock of the tails from a dog which lives in a city and not even knew a rabbit or fox from watching...
I think a JR is right with tail because:
1. I am NO hunter
2. They are born with it.

@PSOLOSGREECE , No-one chops off anyones tails, the tail is docked when they are a few days old with surgical scissors, it is nothing more than a nip to the dogs, and this has been done for many years to accomodate the russells going into rabbit holes etc, personally I don't think a JR is right with a long tail but each to their own, this nonsense about docking their tails being cruel only comes from townies who know nothing about breeding or hunting with dogs. |
